Birds at dusk. Silhouette of a tree and bird, full moon on a light blue background.
I love walking at night, in my quiet mountain neighborhood and seeing all the birds standing like centuries in the trees. This on reminds me of the kestrels that hunt on the hills. The back has one of those cute bouncy birds that you see every where. This bead starts with a base of white, encased in medium blue and then in clear. I then draw on the grass, trees and birds in black and the moon in lovely white. Two winter scenes on this one.

I handcraft each glass bead in my studio with a torch and immediately put it into a digitally controlled kiln to stabilize or anneal the glass. Annealing usually happens overnight.
