Night shift. Flock of birds in a tree. Silhouette of a tree and bird, full moon on a light blue background.
I love walking at night, in my quiet mountain neighborhood and seeing all the birds standing like centuries in the trees. 457 night shift This bead starts with a base of white, stringers of a clear periwinkle, then it is encased in clear. I then draw on the grass, trees and birds in black and the moon in lovely white. I left the back plain on this one.

I handcraft each glass bead in my studio with a torch and immediately put it into a digitally controlled kiln to stabilize or anneal the glass. Annealing usually happens overnight.
